Gerontology/Ageing - New research on changing living arrangements during lockdown

Professor Maria Evandrou from the Department of Gerontology, Centre for Research on Ageing and Centre for Population Change, led a research team including Jane Falkingham, Min Qin and Athina Vlachantoni in publishing the new article entitled “Changing living arrangements, family dynamics and stress during lockdown: evidence from four birth cohorts in the UK” which has been published in SocArxiv. The paper employs data from four cohort studies and examines changes in living arrangements during the COVID-19 lockdown, and their impact on family dynamics and stress for younger and older individuals.
