Student Enterprise Specialist Practitioner
Sean Larsen’s role as Student Enterprise Specialist Practitioner is to help students realise and fulfil their entrepreneurial ambition. This comprises of providing specific activities, advice, guidance and support to students in the areas of business start-up, self-employment and social enterprise.
Prior to joining the University, Sean has had a varied career background predominately as a self-employed contractor and as a business owner himself (having previously founded two of his own small leisure businesses).
Having gone through the business start-up process himself Sean can provide first-hand insight into the highs, lows, trials and tribulations of the entrepreneurial career path!
For his Specialist Practitioner role, Sean draws on his own experience of running several Southampton based businesses:
