Sloan Water Technology supply PPE for First Responders and NHS for COVID-19 response
Sloan Water Technology Ltd., Global-NAMRIP鈥檚 first start-up company, converted its facilities to produce PPE for healthcare workers and first responders, to assist them in the COVID-19 pandemic. The PPE was supplied at no charge.
The operation was split into two teams.
Carl Knox (along with his father, Ian, a former fireman), built visors for local first responders including聽coastguards.
George Bareham and Freya Malcher built visors and mask supports for the NHS, including specific supplies to members聽of聽staff聽at聽the Royal South Hants hospital in Southampton.
The rest of SWT provided support for these activities.
