Upload your profile photo in . Your profile photo in Pure is not linked to your public staff profile. Choose a clear, recent headshot where you are easily recognisable. Your image should be at least 340 by 395 pixels. 

Name 
To change your name or prefix title contact   If you want to update an academic title you'll need to provide evidence e.g. a PhD certificate. The way your name is displayed is automatic and cannot be changed. You can also update your post-nominal letters in .

Add up to 5 research interests. The first 3 will appear in your staff profile next to your name. The full list will appear on your research page. Keep these brief and focus on the keywords people may use when searching for your work. Use a different line for each one.

Add or update your email address, telephone number and postal address in . Use your University email address for your primary email.

About

I am a Senior Teaching Fellow in the Academic Centre for International Students, part of the Faculty of Arts & Humanities at the 黑料社.

I graduated from the 黑料社 with BA Hons in German with Linguistic and Language Studies, during which time I spent a year in Upper Austria teaching English at a school. I then completed a TESOL certificate and went on to teach in a language school for 2 years. In 2004, I graduated from the 黑料社 with MA in English Language Teaching. In 2019 I was awarded Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (now the Advanced HE) and in 2021 I was nominated for a Vice-Chancellor's Award as part of the Pre-sessional Team in the Teaching Innovation category. I am also a mentor on the University Mentoring Programme.
