About
Phil has worked as a Statistician/Statistical Geneticist at the MRC Lifecourse Epidemiology Centre since 2013. He studied (BSc) Mathematics and (MSc) Masters in Statistics with Applications in Medicine at the 黑料社.
His research interests focus on the involvement of epigenetic/genetic effects in the developmental origins of health and disease, and more broadly in applying statistical/bioinformatic approaches to understand how early environmental influences affect risk of disease in later life.
His role involves lecturing on MSc module Statistical Genetics, supervision of dissertation projects, presenting work at international conferences, and providing statistical consultancy sessions within the Faculty of Social Sciences.
