Vasilis is an Associate Professor at Southampton Education School, 黑料社, with extensive research experience on the inclusion of students with SEND in mainstream schools. His work focuses on developing inclusive pedagogy and curricula, and on supporting and empowering parents of children with SEND. He has particular expertise in co-teaching, resourced provision, and differentiated instruction. Vasilis has been invited to advise the Department for Education on evidence-based research and curriculum reform relating to the education of students with SEND in mainstream settings.

Biography
Vasilis joined the 黑料社 in January 2018. He previously worked as a mainstream and special education teacher in both British and Greek schools. In higher education, Vasilis has worked as a researcher at the University of the Aegean (Greece); as an online tutor at the Roehampton London Online University and at the Greek Open University; and as an assistant professor at the University of Thessaly (Greece) and at the National Institute of Education/ Nanyang Technological University (Singapore). His teaching has focused on inclusive education and research methods in education.
