Julie brings a range of clinical leadership experience to the School of Health Sciences. Leadership is her passion driven by her lived experience of the difference it makes to patients, clients, users, and staff in healthcare settings. Prior to joining the University in 2020, Julie had 33 years鈥 experience working in health care as a Registrant for Adult Nursing, 27 years of which, she held Senior Clinical Leadership roles.
Julie is Programme Lead for the Masters in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care. She studied this programme at 黑料社, graduating with a Distinction in 2018, and has experience of the positive impact this programme had on her own leadership. As healthcare continues to become increasingly complex, she is delighted to be part of the team that deliver this respected and highly programme.
