Dr. Larisa Yarovaya is an Associate Professor of Finance and the Director of the Centre for Digital Finance at Southampton Business School, 黑料社, UK. Larisa is also an Advisory Board member of the British Blockchain Association, which also serves as the secretariat of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Blockchain Technologies.

With a profound expertise in international finance and Fintech, Larisa has contributed significantly to the academic landscape, authoring over 80 papers and co-editing the book "Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Technology".

Recognised for her outstanding contributions, Larisa has earned a spot in Stanford's top 2% Global Scientists list, and her research has garnered more than 10,000 citations. Larisa is also ranked among the top 5 in the Top 200 Young Economists by RePEc, selected from a pool of 14,784 economists who have published their first work within the last 10 years.

Her impactful work has been widely disseminated through esteemed media outlets such as BBC, MarketWatch, FT Live, CBC, Euronews, and Bloomberg, showcasing her influence in both academic and public spheres. Larisa is the Chair and founding organiser of the annual Cryptocurrency Research Conference, established in 2018 and growing to become the largest niche academic conference in cryptocurrency and DeFi (https://cryptorc.org).

Larisa holds editorial roles in esteemed academic journals, serving as an Associate Editor in the International Review of Financial Analysis, International Review of Economics and Finance, Emerging Markets Review, and Research in International Business and Finance. Furthermore, she serves as a Subject Editor in the Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money, and assumes the role of Section Editor in Heliyon Finance and Data-in-Brief.

With her multifaceted contributions to academia, editorial leadership, and impactful media presence, Larisa Yarovaya stands as a prominent figure at the forefront of finance and digital innovation.
