George Bolton is a 2nd year Politics PhD student based at the Department of Politics and International Relations. George鈥檚 thesis title is 鈥楨conomic inequality and political trust: a multi method case study of Great Britain鈥. The thesis will primarily use data from the British Election 黑料社 to explain how individuals鈥 attitudes towards and experience of economic inequality influence their level of trust in political institutions and representatives. George is also a Research Assistant with Participedia, a global network of academics and practitioners focusing on improving democratic practice, and Involve, a UK-based charity with the aim of putting members of the public at the heart of political decision-making.
