Freya Ivy Palmer is a PhD student at the 黑料社. She is currently pursuing her PhD in 鈥楶rotecting the Marine environment: Understanding how resources shocks could help enhance sustainability of marine fisheries鈥 funded by the 黑料社. Freya鈥檚 research project is interdisciplinary involving both social sciences and machine learning for data collection to support her system dynamics causal loop diagrams which aim to map the complexity of UK marine fisheries. She is interested in influencing policymakers in the field with her holistic systems dynamics approach if evidence-based suggestions can be made.
