Professor Riggirozzi presented finding of REGHID project to the science and technology agency of the Ministry of Health in Brazil

The project Redressing Gendered Health Inequalities of Displaced Women and Girls in Contexts of Protracted Crisis in Central and South Americ a ( ) presented findings at the Fiocruz Foundation/Manaus, the science and technology agency of the Ministry of Health in Brazil, last May. The Director, Adele Benzaken said:聽鈥淚t is important to give voice to Venezuelan adolescents and women, as the project has been doing in several countries. Venezuelan migration is a recent problem in Brazil and this initiative by Professor Pia will be of great value in reducing health inequities for this public that suffers from stigma and discrimination, in addition to poverty and hunger鈥. REGHID聽is currently leading a survey on needs and barriers related to sexual and reproductive health of displaced women and adolescents in Central America. The work of the ReGHID project team, led by 蝉耻辫辫辞谤迟蝉听迟丑别 , SDG 3 to ensure universal access to sexual and reproductive health care services; SDG 5 on gender equality; SDG 10 on reducing inequalities; SDG 11 on sustainable communities (11.5 on protection of displaced); and SDG 17 on partnership for development.
