Cosmic censorship and the weak gravity conjecture
In this talk I will present numerical evidence for a violation of the Weak Cosmic Censorship Conjecture in 3+1 dimensional asymptotically Anti-de Sitter space-times. I will then explain why such violations are likely to go away in the presence of a sufficiently charged scalar field, suggesting a possible connection between Cosmic Censorship and the Weak Gravity Conjecture.
